Get 'em moving in style! Gaiam launches kids yoga product collection

Leading yoga, fitness and wellness company, Gaiam introduced its new Yoga for Kids line this week.

The pint-sized product collection includes yoga mats, socks, backpacks and water bottles and is available at Gaiam.com and select retailers.

Driving the launch is the growing trend of yoga for kids. With more schools offering the practice in the classroom, kids focused yoga organizations rising up and more kids’ yoga studios opening up, Gaiam is positioning itself to respond to such developments.

“Research shows us that yoga helps build concentration, coordination and mindfulness – great benefits for adults and kids alike,” said Susan Haney, SVP and GMM at Gaiam, in a news release.  “Yoga is a fun way for children to develop these important skills in a creative, noncompetitive environment.”

Gaiam's Yoga for Kids collection includes Yoga Mats, 2-Pack Yoga Socks/2-Pack Yoga Headbands, Water Bottles, and Stay-N-Play Balls for healthy posture and active sitting.
