The Indian Sanskrit word, Chakra, means “wheel,” as in wheels of energy. When our Chakras are in balance, our minds, bodies and moods are believed to be in good health, but when spinning too fast or too slow, we can feel off in one or more ways.
Creating a Chakra Sak is a fun way to explore the Chakras, each of which correlate
to an element of nature and a color of the rainbow. You can store your
Chakra sak on your bedside table, or stow it in your backpack if you wish to channel a particular stone’s energy on a given day. By practicing
certain Asanas, we can bring each Chakra in to proper balance. Happy crafting!
